Millions of tons of industrial wood waste end up in landfills each year due to natural knots, blemishes, and holes. Instead of discarding these pieces, we offer farm-grade trays that embrace these unique characteristics. These imperfections do not affect nesting bees but positively impact our environment.
Our farm-grade wood trays are durable, reusable, and designed for easy fall cocoon harvesting. Precision-crafted from Pacific Northwest alder, they provide a safe and natural nesting material for bees.

- Natural Nesting Scents: The porous nature of wood captures and retains natural nesting scents, helping to attract the next season's bees.
- Cost-Effective: Reusable wood trays reduce year-to-year costs.
- Visual Guidance: The front of the trays is lightly burned to create a visual pattern that helps female leafcutter bees locate their nests while removing splinters that can harm their wings.
- Pest Protection: Side notches lock into neighboring trays, maintaining alignment and blocking pests from entering the nest from the side. All wood trays come with removable cardboard backing and pest-blocker fabric to prevent pests and parasites from entering the nest from the back.
