Why Visual Cues Matter for Bees
After emerging, female bees take zigzag flights to memorize the nest's location and surroundings.
In bee houses with lots of nesting holes, females may struggle to distinguish their nests. BeePOPs add distinctive markers to simplify this process.
Bees perceive light differently from humans, seeing wavelengths of 300–650 nanometers (nm), including ultraviolet (UV) light invisible to us.
BeePOPs make bee houses more attractive to Mason and Leafcutter bees, promoting successful nesting. Add these "signposts" to your bee house!
