Return Policy and Instructions

We are committed to nurturing the bee-raising community as a means of providing gardeners with pollination services that help grow more fresh fruits and vegetables. And so, we make every effort to bring you quality bee-raising supplies and healthy, loose-managed cocoons. We stand behind our products and support our bee-raisers. And, we will work hard to resolve issues that may arise.

Our Satisfaction Guarantee  

If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return your product within 30 days of purchase for either store credit or a refund. If your order contains damaged products or was incorrect, please see our Damaged or Incorrect Product Policy.

Upon receipt of the returned item(s), we will either issue a refund or give you store credit--whichever option you choose. We will email a refund receipt or notice of your store credit for your records. Refunds can only be made to the original payment method and generally take between three and ten days to show on your statement after being processed by Crown Bees. Please note: Shipping charges are neither refundable nor reimbursable.

Kits

Kits reflect a 20% savings over items purchased individually. Therefore, any items that were part of a kit will be refunded at retail minus 20%. 

Bees  

We average a 99% success rate in getting your bees to you safely. However, extreme temperatures and shipping delays can affect cocoon viability.

If your package arrives and you suspect your cocoons are not viable, give them another ten days to hatch, then notify us within 10 - 15 days after receipt. We will replace non-viable cocoons.  Subsequent replacements will be on a case-by-case basis and at our sole discretion.  

Bees are non-refundable. The only exception is end-of-season stock shortage.

    • Brief explanation of why you are returning the product. 
    • Do you want a refund to the original payment method or store credit?
  • We will respond as soon as possible with the next steps. 

Please note: After the 30-day no-questions-asked return period, returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
