    I'm giving this product 5 stars purely for entertainment value. I first put them out in spring two years ago and several of them had cocoons in them, but I had no idea what kind of bee it was- I took it to Crown Bees for ID- we put it in a small container to let it hatch- lo and behold, they were mason bees- the cocoons are about the size of rodent droppings. I put them out again last year through the summer and kept an eye on them- sure enough, I was able to watch mason bees with 6mm butts back into these 4mm tubes. It seems some mason bees just prefer 'Tiny House Living'.
