Instructions: Clean Bee™
We recommend Clean Bee™ as a safer alternative to bleach for targeting mold, chalkbrood (a fungal spore), and other surface diseases that can harm your bees. Naturally occurring, HOCl is a pure and stable compound that is safe for humans, animals, and insects.
Instructions: InvitaBee Attractant
Our InvitaBee attractants are proprietary products that contain a nesting scent attractive to spring mason bees or summer leafcutter bees. Our bees like to nest where bees have nested before and InvitaBee makes your nesting holes smell like home.
Instructions: HumidiBee
Research shows that mason bee cocoons overwintered in a 34-38F (1-3C) controlled environment consume their stored fats much slower than in fluctuating outdoor temperatures. The HumidiBee is a compact case that prevents your overwintering mason bee cocoons from drying out in your fridge. The HumidiBee can safely store about 1,500 spring mason bee cocoons.
Instructions: Mason Bee Mud Mix
Moist clayey mud located within about 25ft of the bee house is vital for successfully raising spring mason bees. Our Mason Bee Mud Mix is 9 oz of dry clay mix that can supply about 100 nesting female bees for a season.
Instructions: Spring Mason Bee Mud Box
The Mason Bee Mud Box keeps clayey mud moist in yards with very sandy soil and in arid locations like deserts and rooftop and balcony gardens. If your mud is too dry for even one day, mason bees will leave your yard and nest elsewhere. The mud box uses capillary action to keep your clayey mud moist.
Instructions: BeeGuard Bag
The BeeGuard Bag is a fine mesh bag that protects developing bee larvae from insects like earwigs, ants, beetles, and parasitic wasps.
Instructions: CocoonGuard Bag
The CocoonGuard Bag is a small fine mesh bag that protects your harvested bee cocoons or bee larvae over the winter until the bees are ready to be released in your bee house. Protecting and storing each kind of wild bee or beneficial wasp cocoon in its own CocoonGuard Bag will make managing your bee hotel easier.
Instructions: Bee Defender
The Bee Defender is a dual season pest trap that lures parasitic wasps that prey on solitary hole-nesting bees. The sneaky parasitic wasps are attracted to the same scent as the pheromones in our InvitaBee formulas.
