Tried and True Seed Planting Combination
Corn (or maize), beans and squash have been planted together for thousands of years. When combined in a diet, these three vegetables will supply complete nutrition. The plants work well together as well. Corn provides a scaffold to support the beans. Beans will fix nitrogen for the corn and help stabilize the plants and squash, with their large leaves, provide a natural mulch for the plants.
The tin measures 4 1/2" long x 3 1/8" wide x 1 5/16" deep. Peaceful Valley brand and most other seed packets are a perfect fit; the metal tin keeps seeds safe. Multiple tins stack or make a decorative display.
